LATEST News

GRANT FOR JAMISON PARK UPGRADE APPROVED!!



   Jamison Park will be going through a major overhaul which has been long awaited, including our club after receiving a grant from Penrith City Council this week.

The development will include:
Sporting fields upgrade, playground, all age activity zone (with multisport activity court), seniors gym, gym and sporting facilites and amenities.
Penrith FC will be obtaining field upgrades, a new meeting room & new lights.

Our club wishes to extend its thanks to The Hon. Stuart Ayres MP Member - Penrith, Cr Ross Fowler - City Mayor and Mr Troy Grant - Minister for Hospitality, Gaming & Racing after our club has successfully obtained a ClubGRANTS funding application grant.

The upgrade is due to start later this year.

TEAM ALLOCATED BBQ DUTY / GROUNDS MARSHAL FOR : Please be aware, all teams are required to carry out BBQ duty throughout the season. Along with this comes the role of grounds marshal during your allocated BBQ time. A roster will be arranged by the clubs committee and distributed as soon as possible. 
Teams playing on Saturday will be nominated for Sunday BBQ duty / Marshal duty, teams playing on Sunday will be nominated for Saturday BBQ duty / Marshal duty.
    Please note: ALL teams are required to carry out their allocated time of duty!!
  2 for BBQ / 1 as Grounds Marshal - you will be required to wear the Ground Marshal's vest whilst on duty and walk around the fields.

2015 REGISTRATION AND OTHER INFORMATION

Registrations

Registrations will take place at Penrith Paceway, Penrith on the following dates: Saturday 17th January, Saturday 31st January 10am to 2pm,Sunday 1st February from 10am to 12pm 2015, Saturday 7th February 12pm to 4pm YOU MUST REGISTER ON THESE DAYS TO QUALIFY FOR THE EARLY BIRD FEES.

Our club fees include GST. EFTPOS facilities are available. There is a 1% surcharge for this service.

PLAYERS, MANAGERS AND COACHES MUST REGISTER ONLINE AT www.myfootballclub.com.au and then attend on registration day with your printed confirmation slip to finalise registration.

Players who register as a student must be full time TAFE/University not part timers and must show Student Cards.

Players turning 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 and 21 years of age this year, any new players and players transferring from other clubs will be required to attend personally and have their photo taken during the registration process.

Muster Nights

Muster nights are where teams, coaches and managers organize and work out training nights etc. they will be held from 7pm on the following nights at Jamison Park in front of canteen:

Under 5, 6, 7 – Monday 23rd February                Under 8, 9, 10 – Tuesday 24th February

Under 11, 12, 13 – Wednesday 25th February        Under 14 – 18 – Thursday 26th February

Under 19 – AA – Thursday 26th February

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Annual general meeting will be held at Penrith Paceway Café Room downstairs on Monday 2nd November 2015 at 7.00 pm.

BBQ DUTY

Committee members this season should only be doing the BBQ in the event of an emergency; each team will be required to do BBQ. Duty for the entire day and will commence at approx. 7.30 am until last scheduled game of the day. This involves setting up and putting away the BBQ, tables, etc. Teams will receive an Email with their dates for their BBQ Duty. If dates conflict due to rescheduling of games, teams will need to contact Lynn Russell via Email to arrange an alternate date otherwise dates will not be allowed to change. Any team who fails to do BBQ duty will forfeit their next week’s game and also incur the forfeit fine.

Alcohol Policy

Saturday – THERE IS A TOTAL BAN AT ALL GROUNDS WITHIN THE DISTRICT.

Sunday – Only permitted within designated areas. Some clubs have a complete ban on alcohol so check with the host club if playing away. Persons breaching these policies will be asked to leave the fields.

Player and Spectator Conduct

Any player or spectator that displays any bad behavior/language or unsportsmanlike manner will not be tolerated at this club. Those that offend will be dealt with by the committee and in extremely severe circumstances, may be asked to leave the club. Please read the BEAUTIFUL GAME AND YOU’ PDF found on the website to all Players and Spectators at start of season.
